Guess the Mystery Thing: Captive Cupid.

Ooh, time for a brand new round of Guess The Mystery Thing!  One for the romantics among you.  (In case you're new here, Guess The Mystery Thing is a jewelry giveaway game that tests your wits, street smarts and crafty intuition.)  Take a look at my new upcycled necklace, featuring a diminutive Captive Cupid:

What, oh, what is the mysterious transparent prison, in which I have ensnared this cute little cherub?

First person to guess it wins a fabulous prize!  (Namely, a Captive Cupid necklace.)

How it works: leave your guess in the comments.  There'll be two winners: first correct guess, and a random winner.  That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), enter anyway, you could still win.  And if your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.

This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere.  C'mon, join in!

THE ONE AND ONLY RULE

1. UNLESS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONE CLICK AWAY IN AN ONLINE PROFILE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR GUESS.  (Fun fact: if you only THINK your email is visible in your profile, it probably isn't.)

Okay, all you romantics - ready?  Annnnnd...Guess The Mystery Thing!

UPDATE: THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED.  THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYBODY!  CHECK THE NEXT POST TO SEE THE REVEAL!

  16. The stone reminds me of a "worry stone" I bought a couple years ago. As for the metal thing on top, I have no clue. Maybe a jewelry finding of some kind?

  18. You've been cutting up the plastic spoons again, haven't you???? Now, what will we do with all the extra handles??????? Use them as stakes?

  19. I believe it may be the glass part of a Christmas light. You must be VERY careful when taking the metal top off and inserting the cupid not to cut yourself. But it's worth it for the beautiful result.

It could also be a petrified tear from Tinkerbell.

  21. Princess Ariel's swim cap, the Little Chinese Seamstress's thimble, or one of Dolly Parton doll's boobs..oops, I guess they aren't sagging yet...But please release captive cupid before Valentine's Day because we all want valentines!
