Guess The Mystery Thing: Emerald Green Pendants

Hiya!  There's still time for one more round of Guess The Mystery Thing in 2012 - shall we play?  (For the uninitiated, it's my guessing game giveaway, and everyone in the world is invited.)  Please peep these interesting upcycled necklaces:

What are those big, curvy, emerald green focal pieces?

I can't be sure, but I think this one might be a toughie.  Hint: they are not from any type of hardware or home improvement store.

First person to guess correctly will receive a fabulous prize!  (Namely, your choice of one of these purty necklaces.)

How it works: leave your guess in the comments.  There'll be two winners: first correct guess and a random winner.  That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), enter anyway, you could still win.  If your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.

This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere.  C'mon, join in!

THE ONE AND ONLY RULE

1. UNLESS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONE CLICK AWAY IN AN ONLINE PROFILE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR GUESS.

Ready?  Set!  Guess the Mystery Thing!

UPDATE: THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED - THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYBODY!

  5. Part of a travel mug, a spoon for a "pinch of.." , or a leprechaun's skateboard. Emerald green is Pantone's 2013 color of the year. Necklaces are quite chic.

  10. Half a bag clip. And by the way, your dollar shop has far fancier bag clips than mine. denapage at gmail.com

If I'm wrong, then it's Darth Vader's helmet that he made especially in honor of St. Patrick's Day. (Shea's input.) Little known fact: that heavy breathing he's known for is because he's drunk all the time. (My factoid.)

My daughter says it's a shoe horn.

  11. It is a heel insert for shoes. But in reality we know its a fairy waterbed from their newest line in waterbeds.

  14. I think it's a shoehorn, though it could be a tongue depressor for a tiny horse or an icescraper for the greengoblin's toy cars.(my e-mail is taraluvswillow@hotmail.com)

  15. Ahhh....she just guessed it - an icescraper! That was gonna be my guess. Could be the bottom of snow shoes too...both for little people. ajp2020@charter.net

    Beautiful creations!!

  21. Hello, mystery fans! Mich here - just popping in to say, NOBODY has even come close to guessing this yet. So feel free to try again...gonna keep this up for a couple more days, just in case we have a genius lurking in the wings.

Hey, if you follow me on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/michlosangeles ) I might give out a helpful hint or two over there.

  22. Another guess if I may..I'm "popping over for a whack" to guess the focal piece "most often used by guys"...the pieces are from an all direction putting practice hole. Very clever Mich.
