Quirky Spring Trellis Necklace

Little flowers.  Climbing up a trellis.  On a necklace.

I bet you recognized the secret ingredient:

(Teeny owls courtesy of sweet friends JoJo and Mei Mei.)

Want to make one?

It's so easy, I'm not gonna say a word.  (I'm tired, and you guys are smart as whips.)  Here goes!

Ta-da!!!

Just add a chain, and that's your quirky trellis necklace.  You can play around with different types of wire, with flower shapes, with placement of the vine...just let your sense of Spring guide you. Here's a fun one with tulips and cotton-covered wire:

This pink one is made from millinery ribbon roses - I added them one at a time, sort of blending the wires together to look like a single vine:

Hope you liked this little Spring fling.  Come back soon for a new Guess The Mystery Thing challenge.  Later, gators!

  5. what a great use for those berry baskets! everything here seems to come in awful plastic clam shell containers because we are soooo far away from the source and we only see those baskets for a few weeks in summer when we get locally grown berries, I will definitely save them next time now that I see the possibilities
