Guess The Mystery Thing: Dots Of Color

Helloooo!  Shall we play a round of Guess the Mystery Thing?  I think we should.  So here goes!  (In case you're new here, it's my crafty giveaway guessing game - open to everyone in the world - this means you.)

Please to take a peek at my latest upcycled jewels.  Some earrings:

I also made a funky fun necklace.  (I hope you like the color combination!)

Your challenge: identify those strange little objects with the bright colored dots.

What are those cute spots of color?

First person to guess correctly will receive a fabulous prize!  (Namely, your choice of any of these nifty baubles.)

How it works: leave your guess in the comments.  There'll be two winners: first correct guess and a random winner.  That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), you could still win.  If your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.

This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere.  C'mon, join in!

THE ONE AND ONLY RULE

1. UNLESS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONE CLICK AWAY IN AN ONLINE PROFILE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR GUESS.

Ready?  Set!  Guess the Mystery Thing!

UPDATE: THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED - THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYONE!  CHECK MY NEXT POST FOR THE EXCITING REVEAL.

  8. After lots of contemplation, the lovely dotty-things greatly resemble the cute, albeit flimsy looking, "Tamper Prevention lock-tag thingies" placed on electricity meters, telephone, cable and satellite distribution nodes/boxes that reside on the sides of your houses or in panels in apartment complexes, et.al.

    Just a guess.

  9. I feel quite certain I've seen these before, but I just cannot figure out where. So you've stumped me!

Wait! No, I know what they are! They're house arrest bracelets from the Smurf village! The dead giveaway was their bright colors, which are chosen to stand out against their blue skin to increase the shame value. That was really, really daring of you to steal from the Smurf Police Department. Though considering they've had them for decades and never had to use them once in that happy village... maybe you did them a favor! Denapage at gmail.com

  16. They are something going out of use because no one uses land lines (phones) anymore. They are connectors for telephone wires or at least that's what I used them for when I repaired telephone lines. mary.lisan@gmail.com
