Guess The Mystery Thing: Glitzy Facets, Japa Mala Style.

Let's play another round of Guess The Mystery Thing, yes?  Take a look at these sorta-kinda Japa Mala-style necklaces.

What are those fancy faceted focal pieces?

First person to guess correctly will receive a fabulous prize!  (Namely, your choice of one of these necklaces.)

How it works: leave your guess in the comments.  There'll be two winners: first correct guess and a random winner.  That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), enter anyway, you could still win.  If your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.

This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere.  C'mon, join in!

THE ONE AND ONLY RULE

  1. erm... it really is quite obvious, but since I was lucky enough to win one of your recent challenges, I won't spoil it for everybody else. It's not like I was totally lost, stumped, without a clue or completely in the dark or anything... *sneaks away to hide somewhere*

  2. I'm gonna guess the bit at the bottom of a blinds pull for the horizontal blinds with a string to raise them.

Either that or the special block in the glass mountain that allowed the prince to go after his princess. Great fairy tale. ^_^

  3. definitely the tears of my high school English teacher, she was so square she cried in rectangles...

  4. Hmm. I think I recognize it but can't remember what it is. Nope, not coming to me. A guess? A lucite belt buckle for small disco dancers?

  5. My first impression was that it looks like a tic tac container, and now I can't get that out of my head, even though I'm positive that's not it. Also, Japa what style? I do not know that one...

  6. Part of an LED nightlight, from the dollar store? I've seen ones not *quite* like these, but somewhat similar. Either that, or teeny-tiny longterm cold storage for interstellar space travellers. You know, like from the Alien movies, but for really, really small cosmonauts.

  11. Boy oh Boy, those are all good guesses, but I think I have the answer! Wonder Woman's "INVISIBLE" camera!!!!! LOL! crafteeladee82@aol.com

  12. The invisible man's dominos? Or maybe Agy's on the right track: It's a dohickey from a whatchamacallit. Whatever they are, they make for FAB jewelry!

I'm hoping it's a Dollar Tree find, not a Lowe's find because I make a point of never going into Lowe's... too much testosterone in the air. Ever since they replaced the music with the Tim Allen grunting, I banned the place.

    1. I know what you mean, yet I spend half my life in home improvement stores! Did you know dogs are allowed in Lowes? When I take Bailey, everyone runs over to say hi, and pet him, and talk to him in baby talk. The testosterone melts right away.

  13. Dena you are cracking me up, are you serious they play Tim Allen's grunting? Yeah every time I go in there and I ask for something and they ask me what I am using it for and I tell them crafts of some sort they look at me like I am on crack. I like going to Lowe's sometimes just for Dominic's though!

Anyways, I don't have a clue as usual! I also think it may be mini blinds pieces parts. Since that is already taken....Snowman buttons. They are using these instead of coal this season O.o

  17. I don't know what they're callet, but the plastic thingy the cord runs through for window shades, at the bottom! I tried to look it up but all I found was "cord holder". Arg! rose (at) heroinejewelry.com tyvm.

  18. It looks like one of those plastic security tabs they stick on things all time. I'm sure I'm wrong, but I can't come up with anything else! anna.muldoon (at) gmail.com

  19. Well I think it is either part of a clear ring case or clear carpet protectors for table legs, but what it really is:
mini clear floatation devices for Liliputians to make their get-away after Gulliver broke all the tiny ropes holding him down. Bet you thought I wouldn't figure it out!!!
