Guess The Mystery Thing: Tricky Pink Necklace Bail

Hi, boys and girls!  Time to play a brand new round of Guess The Mystery Thing!  It's my world famous guessing-game giveaway, and everyone is invited.  New here?  I hope you'll stick around for a moment and give it a whirl.
Take a peek at my latest upcycled necklace:
Who among you can identify that mysterious pink bail?  (Terminology alert: a bail is a thing that attaches a pendant onto a necklace).
What is that dainty little thing?
First person to guess correctly will receive a fabulous prize!  (Namely, this sweet pink and silver bauble.)
How it works: leave your guess in the comments.  There'll be two winners: first correct guess and a random winner.  That's right, I said random winner - so even if you don't know (or think someone else already got it), enter anyway, you could still win.  If your guess is funny, it might make my Most Creative Honor Roll.

This giveaway is open to anyone, anywhere.  C'mon, join in!

THE ONE AND ONLY RULE

1. UNLESS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONE CLICK AWAY IN AN ONLINE PROFILE, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR GUESS.

Ready?  Set!  Guess the Mystery Thing!

  12. That's another easy one.
Remember what I said about trolls the other week?
Well, ever since that awful battle in Koom Valley, trolls and dwarves are arch enemies.
Sometimes they still clash big style, even those third or fourth generation city dwellers whose ancestors left the mountains to find a better, more peaceful life for themselves, often forging swords and building witch brooms (dwarves) or working as bouncers and hired muscles (trolls).
Now... it is customary among dwarves not to reveal your sex. Both male and female dwarves wear beards, battle axes, chain maille and iron boots- you can imagine this makes asking someone out on a date a bit tricky at times, right?
But recently, the more modern female city dwarves have got fed up with being unable to doll up. So they have come yp with rather subtle ways of underlining their femininity without coming across as downright sluts. Little things like curling their beards, wearing chain maille skirts over the iron boots and girly belt buckles.
Which brings me to todays item.
For everybody who knows at least a few rudimentary facts about dwarves, it is immediately obvious that this is a little belt buckle belonging to a female dwarf. I would hazard that the previous owner might work as either a customer service assistant in a shop selling intricately designed crossbows and daggers with butterflies carved into their handles or, I could imagine, as waitress in one of the innumerable clubs for the verically challenged. (not just dwarves... those places are teeming with pictsies (sic), gnomes and a few other folks you don't want to look at for long enough to determine their species.
Don't say I don't educate you guys when it turns out I'm right!

  13. It's a tab that's on hamburger or hot dog bun bags to close them back up! Mine have always been white, but I guess you could color or dye it!! But maybe this one was made by the Keebler Elves!!!

  14. I think it's a portion of a pre-cut felt ornament (like you can find at Hobby Lobby/Micheals). Your "Guess the mystery thing" is the most awesome use of "recycled" items ever!!! Even my boyfriend gets a kick out of trying to figure it out and then being amazed by what it is!!! The one we laughed the most over was the castration bands! LOL! Love the necklace too!

  17. A wire holder from something you bought. You know those annoying things you have to unwind and cut to get the toy out of the package. anyway, that's my guess. Btw, I love your inventiveness. Thanks, Felicia. Crochetqueen228@gmail.com
