Guess The Mystery Thing: Honeycomb Pendant

Ready to play another round of Guess The Mystery Thing?  Take a peek at my latest upcycled necklace, and see if you can identify the black honeycomb grid:

Annnnd, here ya go!  The Mystery Thing:



Plastic mesh that keeps leaves out of your roof gutter.  It comes in a huge roll and is super easy to work with.  The bumblebee design was the first thing that popped into my head.




I plan to use this a million ways - isn't it perfect for making cuff bracelets?!  Hooray for the hardware store - yet again!

So please tell what you guessed in the comments - I just love hearing how you looked at the jewel without any context.

  2. I thought it was that rubber drawer liner stuff but I guess that would be too floppy. Great idea and I like bees.

  5. I knew it was some sort of netting from the hardware store....how are you going to make it into a cuff?

    1. Cut a long rectangle and add a clasp to the ends. Then you have an open grid cuff and could add beads or fabric flowers or weave ribbons through it.
